Many people ask me for weight loss tips.. Well here is my biggest pet peeve.. If you go for a long run or even just do steady state cardio for a long period of time.. It’s so important to restore your glycogen stores within 30-45 minutes after you finish. It helps your body fight sugar cravings later in the day and also keeps you from feeling sluggish and moody. Foods like fruit, white rice, protein bars, eggs and toast are great items to do that. Waiting hours to eat and hoping for weight loss results is not the way to go. You may actually be doing more harm then good. Eat Healthy ya’ll!!

It’s Friday!! That means it’s time for your Friday Fitness Challenge! #fitchallenge

Today, you challenge is handstands! I start off my shoulder workouts with handstand walks to get the blood pumping. Try handstands up against a wall, or stand alone. (If you’ve never done them before, make sure there is a mat underneath you in case you fall). Try holding a handstand for as long as you can. If you can walk on your hands, try walking for as long as possible. Repeat 3-5 times depending on your comfort level. HAVE FUN!!!
